We’re a small, family-run brokerage on Brandt Pike. From grandfather to grandson, we’ve believed the same thing about this work. It’s about people first, and houses second.
How it started
It started with one man who never met a stranger
Odis Slone Jr. opened Odis Slone Realty in 1974. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a longtime member of the Dayton Area Board of REALTORS®. Around here, though, most people remember him as the man who “never met a stranger.”
That’s where our motto comes from. Friends are family. It wasn’t a slogan to him. It was simply how he did business.
A new generation
Brad carries it on
Brad Slone is Odis’s grandson. Today he leads the business as its broker.
The name on the sign is the same, and so is the office on Brandt Pike. When you call, you’ll reach a real person who knows the area and gives you a straight answer.

In memory of Odis Slone Jr., 1944–2024.
Odis passed away in September 2024, one week before his company turned fifty. We miss him, and we’re proud to carry his name. The business he built will keep treating people the way he did.
