Getting to know Beavercreek

Beavercreek is a Greene County city on the east side of the Dayton area, between downtown Dayton and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The area was settled in the early 1800s, and it became the City of Beavercreek in 1980.

It is home to The Greene Town Center and The Mall at Fairfield Commons, two of the area’s best-known places to shop and eat. It also has a large city park system and the Creekside Trail, a paved bike path that runs through town.

What you'll find in Beavercreek

Parks and trails

Rotary Park covers 72 acres with ball diamonds, soccer fields, picnic shelters and playgrounds. The Creekside Trail runs from Xenia to Eastwood MetroPark in Dayton, with a trail hub at Beavercreek Station.
Shopping and dining

The Greene Town Center mixes shops, restaurants, entertainment and offices in an outdoor town-center layout. The Mall at Fairfield Commons is close by.
Popcorn Festival

The Beavercreek Popcorn Festival fills the weekend after Labor Day with hundreds of vendor booths, live music, a 5K and a car show. Admission is free.
Local history

Settlers arrived in the early 1800s. The area stayed a township until February 1980, when it was incorporated as the City of Beavercreek.
